About City Lake Park

City Lake Park in Siloam Springs is a friendly, family-oriented mountain bike spot on the city’s lake property north of town. It mixes fun singletrack with a paved pump track, a skills course, and a genuinely unique treetop boardwalk, which makes it a great place to learn and progress.

Trail details

This is a compact system – a few miles of singletrack – built to squeeze a lot of variety into a small area. The riding leans beginner to intermediate, with the standout dirt line being Simons Descent, which flows through rollers, a step-up, bermed corners, wallrides, and some optional drops. Beyond the singletrack, the park has a bike skills course and a paved pump track for practicing bike control, plus an ADA-accessible loop around a field. The unique piece is the Enchanted Forest, a roughly 505-foot elevated boardwalk that winds through the tree canopy with watershed views. Because the trails are compact, many can be ridden in either direction for a different feel.

Connected & nearby trails

  • Lake Wedington – a scenic lake-side trail system between Siloam Springs and Fayetteville, worth pairing on a bigger day.

Know before you go

Ride spring through fall and stay off the dirt when it is wet to protect the trails. The paved pump track dries fast and is a good rainy-day option. This is a family spot, so expect walkers on the ADA loop and boardwalk – share the space and keep speeds sensible near others. Bring water.
