About OZ Trails Bike Park

OZ Trails Bike Park in Bella Vista is Arkansas’s first chairlift-served mountain bike park, and it changed the game for riding in Northwest Arkansas. Instead of pedaling up to earn your descents, you ride a high-speed quad chairlift to the top and lap gravity trails all day.

Trail details

The park opened with more than 20 miles of purpose-built gravity trails from Gravity Logic, the same crew behind the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Trails are color-coded by difficulty from beginner green runs all the way to double-black-diamond terrain, and roughly 75% of the mileage is built for beginner and recreational riders.

  • Distance: 20+ miles of lift-accessed downhill trails
  • Difficulty: green (beginner) through double black
  • Surface: machine-built dirt gravity trails with berms, jumps, and flow
  • Extras: a pump track and dirt-jump zone near the base
  • Best for: anyone who wants lift laps without the climb, from first-timers to experts

The park / where it is

The park sits near Highway 71 and Mercy Way on the Bentonville-Bella Vista border and was developed by the Runway Group. The base is anchored by the 20,000-square-foot OZ Trails HQ, which is free and open to the public and holds a bike shop with rentals and retail, a bike-instruction school, event spaces, and Ozzy’s Ride and Dine restaurant with a rooftop deck and beer garden. There’s a scenic hiking loop and large-scale art too. Buy lift tickets online and check current hours before you drive out.

Connected & nearby trails

If you like the gravity riding here, you’re in the right corner of Northwest Arkansas for it.

  • Huntley Gravity Park is a downhill jump-and-berm zone inside Little Sugar, just up the road, where you climb or shuttle instead of taking a lift.
  • Little Sugar is the big all-weather cross-country system next door, with waterfalls, tunnels, and miles of flow.
  • Bella Vista Back 40 gives you a classic 40-mile pedal-powered network if you want to earn your miles.

Know before you go

Because the lift does the climbing, a full-suspension trail or gravity bike and a full-face helmet are the way to go, and the shop can rent you a setup if you don’t have one. Buy your ticket or pass online ahead of time, confirm operating days and hours (bike parks run seasonal and weather-dependent schedules), and if it’s your first time riding lift-served terrain, book a lesson or start on the green runs to get a feel for the speed.

Where is OZ Trails Bike Park and where do you park?

It sits near the intersection of Highway 71 and Mercy Way on the Bentonville-Bella Vista border in Northwest Arkansas. There’s on-site parking at the base area by the OZ Trails HQ building.
